About the Opportunity
BMS Strata Systems is seeking a full-time Trainer Assessor, based in the Bowen Basin, QLD, specifically at the Moranbah mine site (about a 2-hour commute southwest of Mackay, QLD).
This position offers a flexible work schedule, adopting a 9-day fortnight arrangement and a 5-day on, 2-days off rotation, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while ensuring comprehensive coverage and support across the Moranbah mine site.
This pivotal role enhances our workforce's skills and ensures compliance with the highest safety and operational standards. You will report directly to the training manager and be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions and assessments across various sites.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering training sessions across various sites
- Conducting assessments and managing training documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence
- Enhancing workforce skills through specialised training and development programmes
About You
To qualify for this role, you must hold a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a valid Standard 11 (Surface and Underground) certification. Essential to this role is a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Underground Coal Mining Industry. Additionally, a valid “C” Class Queensland driver’s licence is required.

About the Benefits
This role offers a competitive hourly package of $70, translating to an annual potential of $131,040 to $145,600 (Commensurate with skills and experience), depending on work schedules, and includes:
